The best way to move the AR database

Hey what is the best way to move the AR database from one server to another. The server that the AR database is on is a win 2000 server and it's barely functioning. I'm going to move the database to a brand new dell server that the school ordered before I started working at this site.

I have AR 5.12 and star 2.3.

Make a full back up of the main folders and move that data when you have installed the AR program in the server.  Share the file and apply the policies.
