Anti virus/ spyware that blocks fake av

Anyone recommend one? I have a lot of clients bringing me these computers that as soon as they load up its running a scan and trying to sell them an anti virus. I know how to get rid of it I just can't find something to prevent it.

Tell them to scan what they download from frost wire and lime wire before they play it! Honestly you can get them the best software in town but ultimately they have the option to ignore warnings and continue anyway.

Limewire has been involved in almost every home computer virus clean up i have dealt with. For some reason people love to upload viruses there. It's a breeding ground. I tell most people to pull from Ares or a torrent site if they are going to use that for home.

You can download Malware Bytes at Malwarebytes.org. The free version will eliminate all Rouge AV softwares. You will need to be able to update the program after the initial install. If you rouge av sw will not let you run it in safe-mode with networking mode.

yeah i use malware to take it off but i need something that will prevent it from getting back on... without having to pay and legal

Make sure you clear out the browser cache and temp folders wherever you find them.  They like to play in there silently.
